Fuel Finder will be enforced by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) under The Motor Fuel Price (Open Data) Regulations 2025. Although the first three months will focus on education and support rather than penalties, the long‑term expectation is clear: accurate, timely reporting is mandatory.

Failing to meet the 30‑minute reporting window could ultimately result in fines.
