Founded in Scotland and operating nationwide, Powertek Utilities is an award‑winning independent power and multi‑utility contractor, with extensive experience delivering electrical and civil engineering projects for both public and private sector clients. Headquartered in Paisley, the business supports customers across the UK through a growing network of local depots.

Powertek Utilities brings deep technical expertise across HV and LV electrical networks, multi‑utility infrastructure and civil engineering works. Services include electrical design and installation, cable jointing up to 33kV, substation installation and commissioning, excavation and reinstatement and full project management delivery.

The business is also accredited to deliver electric, gas, water and telecommunications connections, providing customers with a streamlined, single‑provider solution for complex utility projects.

Supporting energy transition and EV infrastructure

Powertek Utilities has expanded rapidly into renewables and electric vehicle charging, supporting onshore wind, hydro and solar projects as well as the design, installation and commissioning of EV charging infrastructure. The company is fully certified and accredited, holding key industry approvals and management system certifications including ISO standards for quality, environment and health and safety.
