TSG at UKREiiF 2026 From Conversation to Commitment

An Electric Start in Leeds

The moment the doors opened, it was clear UKREiiF 2026 would deliver something special. A steady stream of visitors quickly became a surge, filling the halls with energy, purpose and expectation. Conversations sparked instantly as delegates from across the UK’s property, infrastructure and energy sectors gathered under one roof, each arriving with a shared goal: to shape what comes next.

With around 18,000 attendees, this year’s event marked a new level of scale and influence. Members of parliament, local authorities, developers, investors and industry leaders all moved through the same space, creating a unique environment where ideas travelled quickly and opportunities took shape in real time. High-profile figures, including Rachel Reeves, Andy Burnham and James Cleverly, underscored the national importance of the discussions taking place.

For TSG, this set the tone for three days defined by momentum, meaningful engagement and a clear sense that the energy transition is no longer a future ambition. It is happening now.

A Platform Alive with Opportunity

UKREiiF has always been more than an exhibition, and this year reinforced that position. Across the various marquees, each hosting its own programme of panels and presentations, there was a constant flow of insight into the UK’s evolving infrastructure landscape.

TSG’s team approached the event with intent, selecting the most relevant sessions and engaging directly with the voices shaping future development. The format allowed delegates to listen to speakers through headsets, creating a focused experience without disrupting the show’s wider activity. It meant conversations could continue seamlessly alongside the transfer of knowledge, adding to the collaborative atmosphere.

Announcements came thick and fast. New developments, regeneration schemes and long-term infrastructure projects were unveiled throughout the forum, each one representing both opportunity and challenge. For TSG, these were not abstract concepts. They were tangible openings to support clients with the energy infrastructure that underpins them.

Conversations That Matter

Beyond the stages and formal sessions, the real value of UKREiiF lay in the conversations taking place across the floor. TSG’s team walked the event with purpose, meeting company owners, senior decision-makers and project leaders to understand how their energy requirements are evolving.

These discussions revealed a consistent theme: energy is no longer a supporting service but a central driver of project viability, operational resilience and long-term value. Developers are thinking differently, placing energy strategy at the heart of their plans rather than addressing it as a late-stage consideration.

The team identified several promising prospects, spanning both active developments and schemes preparing to move forward. These were not speculative introductions but meaningful connections, grounded in real opportunities that will continue beyond the event. Each conversation reinforced TSG’s position as a partner capable of delivering integrated solutions across power, solar and battery infrastructure.

Insight from the Industry’s Leading Voices

The speaker programme at UKREiiF offered a window into some of the UK’s most ambitious developments. Among them was the redevelopment of Gatwick Airport, a scheme that reflects both the scale and complexity of modern infrastructure.

TSG engaged directly with the development director following the session, introducing the company and registering interest in contributing to what is understood to be a programme of around 20 individual projects. It is a clear example of how UKREiiF bridges the gap between concept and delivery, bringing together the people who define projects with those who can help deliver them.

These moments are where presence turns into progress, as presentations evolve into conversations, conversations into relationships and, ultimately, relationships into real work.

A Round Table That Sparked Something More

One of the standout moments of the event came through TSG’s own roundtable session. Carefully planned and structured, it brought together 12 participants, including nine influential business leaders alongside three members of the TSG team.

The session began with a clear agenda designed to guide discussion. However, what followed demonstrated the true value of bringing the right people into the same room.

Ibrahim Mohamed, strategic advisor to the House of Commons, asked a single, powerful question: how do we fix the growing demand for electricity? With that, the tone shifted. The discussion moved beyond structure and into something far more dynamic.

The debate unfolded naturally, drawing on the experience and perspectives of everyone around the table. Ideas were tested, challenged and refined in real time. It became less about prepared answers and more about honest, forward-thinking dialogue.

The outcome was significant, with the session positioning TSG as a credible and authoritative voice in the power sector while also leading to a direct request for the findings to be formalised and presented to the government. This level of engagement reflects both the strength of the discussion and TSG’s growing influence within the sector.

Uncorking the Grid

Alongside the round table, TSG hosted an exclusive fringe event titled ‘Uncorking the Grid’. Designed as an invite-only gathering, it brought together over 30 selected attendees for focused discussion in a more informal setting.

The theme resonated strongly, with grid capacity, connection timelines and the growing pressure on infrastructure sitting firmly at the centre of conversation, reflecting the wider challenges facing the industry. Independent Connection Provider services and solar integration quickly emerged as key talking points, as attendees looked to explore how these solutions could unlock progress.

The quality of engagement stood out throughout, with discussions evolving into detailed, commercially focused exchanges among those directly involved in project delivery. This created an environment where ideas could be explored openly, supported by a shared understanding of the challenges and the urgency to address them.

Strengthening TSG’s Position

Across every interaction, from large-scale presentations to one-on-one conversations, TSG’s presence at UKREiiF was clear and consistent, with the business not just part of the conversation around energy infrastructure but helping to lead it.

The combination of technical expertise, integrated delivery and a practical understanding of project demands resonated strongly with the audience. Whether discussing grid connections, solar generation or battery storage, the message remained the same: complexity can be simplified when approached in the right way.

The event reinforced the importance of visibility, with TSG’s presence, engagement and participation in relevant conversations positioning it as a serious and capable player within the sector.

From Momentum to Action

Now that UKREiiF 2026 has concluded, the focus shifts to what comes next. The conversations that began in Leeds will continue, developing into partnerships, projects and long-term collaboration.

For TSG, the outcome is clear, with the event delivering strong prospects, valuable insight and a platform to demonstrate capability at the highest level. More importantly, it created momentum that will carry forward into the months ahead.

UKREiiF is where ideas meet action. This year, TSG ensured it was part of both.
