TSG Welcomes Jodie Papacharalombous as Business Development Manager for New Energies

TSG UK is delighted to announce the appointment of Jodie Papacharalombous as Business Development Manager for TSG Power, part of its expanding New Energies portfolio. Jodie brings a strong focus on customer care and collaboration, helping clients navigate the complex journey to low-carbon energy solutions.

Jodie joined TSG Power to be part of the movement driving cleaner, more sustainable energy. She is excited by the fast-paced evolution of the Independent Connections Provider (ICP) and New Energies space and its real impact on the UK’s energy transition. “For me, it’s all about putting the client first,” she explains. “Every project is unique, and our role is to make the journey as simple and seamless as possible.”

Her passion for the sector began at Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE), where she embraced the challenge of entering a new industry and developed a deep commitment to progress and partnerships. Supported by great mentorship and training, Jodie discovered the importance of collaboration and client understanding in delivering successful projects. Today, she applies those lessons to help customers achieve their connection and sustainability goals through innovation and teamwork.

Jodie is proud to be part of a knowledgeable, collaborative “dream team” alongside former colleagues, including Dave Jackson. Together, they focus on guiding clients through regulatory and infrastructure challenges with tailored, cost-effective solutions. The team is highly process-driven, with regular meetings at every stage to ensure clarity and progress.

Clients often face hurdles such as grid constraints, DNO pressures and complex regulations. TSG simplifies the journey with a turnkey approach, delivering everything from grid connections to electric vehicle (EV) charging and solar, even signage for new developments. “We work closely with developers to balance return on investment (ROI) with sustainability goals,” Jodie says. “It’s about creating infrastructure that’s ready for the end user and meets strict green credentials.”

Cross-division collaboration is central to Jodie’s strategy. By combining the strengths of TSG Power, Solar and Charge, the group delivers complete solutions both behind the meter, with solar and battery storage, and in front of the meter, with cabling and grid connections.  This integrated approach ensures clients have a single point of contact and complete peace of mind.

The UK energy landscape is shifting rapidly toward decarbonisation and smarter, flexible systems. Jodie sees innovation and compliance as inseparable in delivering safe, scalable, future-proof solutions. Her focus is on helping clients transition efficiently to resilient, low-carbon energy systems.

Away from the office, Jodie’s life revolves around her family. She and her husband, John, are hands-on parents to George (4) and Mila (6), often found acting as “mum and dad taxi” to their activities. Weekends are all about family time, and Jodie loves good food and dining out to unwind.

Simon Cowling, New Energies Infrastructure Director of TSG UK, commented:

Jodie’s passion for client care and her collaborative approach make her an invaluable addition to the team. She will play a key role in helping businesses achieve their sustainability goals.”
