What is an ICP?

An Independent Connection Provider (ICP) is a certified company authorised to execute contestable works on the electricity network. These include high- and low-voltage connections, typically delivered in coordination with the local DNO. ICPs must be accredited under the NERS scheme, which confirms their technical competence and compliance with industry standards.
