TSG has reached 7,000 employees and is strengthening its move towards multi-energy solutions

TSG – Europe’s leading provider of technical services for responsible mobility – has now exceeded 7,000 employees. This marks a new milestone in the company’s development, driven by both organic growth and a series of acquisitions. Most recently, TSG has acquired Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s service operations in Northern and Eastern Europe, adding more than 380 specialists to the organisation.

Growth based on strong skills

TSG’s workforce has grown by almost 80 % since 2020. This growth is the result of a targeted HR strategy, investment in new technical skills and more than 40 acquisitions across 17 countries over the past three years – 11 of which took place in 2025 alone. The acquisitions strengthen TSG’s position in growth areas such as electric vehicle charging, solar energy, electrical installations and energy storage.

86 % of staff work in operational roles, and TSG is continuously expanding its local presence and capacity across Europe – without creating unnecessary centralised complexity.

”The fact that we have now reached 7,000 employees demonstrates our ability to attract and retain the skills needed to support the energy transition,” says Jean-Marc Bianchi, Chairman and CEO of TSG. ”Our culture is based on local responsibility, a simple organisational structure and a strong sense of commitment. We think globally, but act locally.”

Energy skills for the future

TSG’s strategic transformation is based on attracting and developing the right skills in the right places. Since 2016, the proportion of staff working on new energy services (electricity, solar, gas, HVAC) has grown from 2 % to over 25 %. This development is the result of targeted acquisitions. Over 60 % of the growth in staff numbers since 2020 has come from acquisitions, 93 % of which were in the field of new energy sources – but also from a proactive approach to in-house training.

On average, every employee receives 22 hours of training per year, which supports the development of multi-energy expertise across all countries. In 2024 alone, more than 1,300 employees were trained in electric mobility and solar energy.

TSG also invests in in-house and local technical training centres, such as the certified Solar & Electrical Training Centre in France and the company’s technical programme in Spain, in order to raise skill levels through hands-on learning.

Digital tools such as TSG e-Academy now support the roll-out of training across the group in 16 languages, ensuring rapid adaptation and continuous learning on a large scale.

A stable and committed organisation

Even with strong growth, TSG has a retention rate that is significantly above the industry average. Its decentralised structure gives teams responsibility and flexibility, and fosters a culture based on safety, accountability and customer satisfaction.

TSG is also actively working to promote diversity and has set a target for women to account for 20 % of its workforce – an increase from 14 % in 2021.

The Group’s employer brand, “Move with TSG. Energise your Future”, is designed to attract employees who wish to be part of the company’s long-term development.
