A TSG technician carries out servicing on a charger

Servicing of charging points from TSG

You’ll get the most out of your charging infrastructure when the chargers are working properly. Regular maintenance keeps them available, makes them more reliable and extends the equipment’s service life.

Scheduled inspections identify wear and tear and emerging faults before they affect operations. And if a fault does occur, rapid assistance ensures that it is resolved. Together, this keeps the chargers available and operations running efficiently, with the least possible disruption to those who need to charge.

Charging point maintenance tailored to your operations

Our service programmes keep your charging infrastructure up and running and provide you with rapid technical support whenever you need it.

Preventative maintenance involves regular inspections, tests, servicing and performance checks, so that problems are identified before they become serious. These scheduled visits make the chargers more reliable, extend their service life and provide a better charging experience.

Even well-maintained equipment can fail due to the weather, a faulty component, software issues or external factors. When this happens, our service engineers will identify the fault, repair it and get the charger up and running again.

Through preventive maintenance, remote diagnostics and support in the event of faults, we ensure that the chargers remain operational, whether they are part of a charging network, located at a fleet depot or in a charging hub.

A service agreement for charging points may include:

  • Preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and repairs
  • Remote monitoring and support
  • Software and firmware updates
  • Technical advice
  • Repair work
  • Emergency call-out in the event of a breakdown

Here’s what you’ll get out of it

Operational reliability. Chargers that work properly inspire confidence in those using them and ensure a business runs smoothly. Regular servicing keeps them in good working order, and prompt assistance resolves any faults as they arise.

Longer service life. Routine maintenance identifies wear and tear before it affects operations. It extends the service life, makes it easier to plan new investments and saves you from having to carry out replacements that could have been avoided.

Safety. Well-maintained chargers protect both users and site staff. Regular inspections of power supplies, sockets, cables and enclosures identify safety issues in good time.

Efficient operation. Scheduled maintenance, software updates and monitoring keep the chargers running. Should a fault occur, a rapid response from a technician minimises downtime.

Satisfied users. Motorists expect the charger to be available, easy to use and in working order. It is when preventative maintenance and troubleshooting go hand in hand that this is the case, and that is what makes them come back.

Legislation. Regular maintenance helps you comply with current regulations and best practice, ensuring that your charging infrastructure is safe and compliant.

TSG is here to help

We know how important it is to keep the charging infrastructure up and running. That is why our service programmes combine preventative maintenance with technical support whenever it is needed.

Together with you, we’ll draw up a maintenance plan tailored to your operations, the extent to which the chargers are used, and the requirements of your site. This applies whether you have a single charger, a fleet depot or a network of chargers spanning several countries.

Our team provides support with fault reporting, technical guidance, regular maintenance and emergency call-outs in the event of a breakdown. Larger customers can be assigned a dedicated contact person who will be responsible for planning, reviewing operations and future upgrades.

With a single service partner for inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance work, you’ll have better control over costs, and your chargers will be ready for more people to drive electric cars.

For those of you who operate: petrol stations, charging hubs, fleet depots, staff car parks, shops and public charging networks.
