Biofuel Express
Denmark's Biofuel Express needed a new truck refuelling station to meet growing demand for fossil-free fuels in heavy transport. The challenge was to deliver a reliable and safe self-service solution that serves professional fleets while meeting high requirements for availability, control and efficient operation.
Project description
Biofuel Express is a leading distributor of 100% fossil-free fuels, supplying companies that offer environmentally friendly transport solutions and have high requirements for reducing CO2 emissions. The project involved establishing a new truck refuelling station that supports heavy transport with both fossil-free and conventional fuels. The goal was to deliver a reliable self-service infrastructure offering HVO, diesel and AdBlue through Tokheim equipment, while ensuring high availability, safety and system integration for professional fleet management.
TSG delivered Biofuel Express a turnkey refuelling infrastructure covering both the equipment and the complete on-site installation. The new truck refuelling station was equipped with QML dispensers for HVO, diesel and AdBlue, so that fossil-free fuels can be supplied to professional transport customers.
TSG was responsible for the cabling and for commissioning the Tokheim Prizma and Crypto systems, which ensure reliable station control, transaction management and system integration. The solution also included ProGauge automatic tank gauging (ATG), SGB leak detection, lighting and CCTV, supporting safe operation and continuous monitoring of the station.
To centralise and protect the critical systems, TSG supplied a custom-built technical cabinet housing the Prizma computer, ATG equipment, electrical distribution board and CCTV controller. The unified setup makes maintenance easier, improves operational reliability and creates a scalable foundation for future expansion of the station.
