TSG Ireland was recently successful with its winning bid for the provision of electric vehicle (EV) chargers for Brennans Bakeries in Dublin. This EV charging installation project aimed to set up EV charging stations for the bakeries’ employees, with a plan to migrate their existing diesel van fleet to EV in the future. This involved the installation of 2No AC pedestals from Circontrol, as well as providing the CPO functionality with an App for processing fees for charging.
The charger chosen was a Circontrol unit manufactured in Spain. The eVolve Smart T is a 3-phase Fast Charger unit providing up to 22kW AC power on each port to a connected EV. TSG was also responsible for the civil works to carry out excavation works; installation of a concrete plinth and site completion works to a high standard of finish. TSG was also responsible for the electrical works to run cables from the main distribution board to the charger location, terminate, test, commission, hand over and provide training on the system and the CPO back-office functions.
As a registered member of Safe Electric (RECI), TSG provided full certification of the installation.
