Project overview.

We supported the development of a future-ready Multi-Energy Station at Greenpoint Asten, located near the A67 motorway in the Netherlands. The project aimed to create a hybrid energy hub combining conventional fuels, sustainable alternatives and high-power electric vehicle charging. By integrating multiple energy solutions at one strategic location, we contributed to Greenpoint’s ambition to support low-carbon mobility for both passenger vehicles and heavy-duty transport, while ensuring operational efficiency, accessibility and scalability for future energy demands.

The solution delivered by TSG.

As the technical partner for the project, we were responsible for the design, integration and delivery of the charging infrastructure at the Greenpoint Asten site. Leveraging its expertise in energy distribution and e-mobility solutions, we installed high-power DC fast chargers with a total available capacity of up to 400 kW, enabling fast and reliable charging for both cars and electric trucks.

We coordinated the full scope of technical activities, including hardware selection, grid connection, installation planning and system commissioning. The project was delivered in close collaboration with Greenpoint Clean Energy Hubs and VGB Tankstations / Van Kessel Olie, ensuring seamless integration of electric charging alongside conventional and alternative fuels such as diesel and HVO. Special attention was given to local requirements, including 24/7 accessibility and easy manoeuvring for heavy-duty vehicles.

The result is a scalable and future-proof multi-energy location where refuelling and fast charging coexist, demonstrating our ability to deliver integrated energy solutions tailored to evolving mobility needs.

Results and Impact.

The completion of the Multi-Energy Station at Greenpoint Asten has strengthened the site’s position as a key energy hub for regional and international transport flows. With charging power of up to 400 kW, the station now offers one of the fastest charging facilities in the region, reducing downtime for electric vehicles and improving overall user experience. The integration of alternative fuels alongside electric charging supports CO₂ reduction objectives and accelerates the transition towards more sustainable transport solutions.

"TSG has proven itself for years as more than just a service provider. They are a partner with whom we can talk about anything – technical challenges, innovation and future-proofing our energy infrastructure. That open dialogue adds real value to our business."
