Le Plessis-Robinson, February 2nd, 2026 – TSG, the European leader in technical services for responsible mobility solutions, and beyond, announces the acquisition of two specialised companies: Powertek Utilities Limited in the United Kingdom and Van der Heijden (HMI) in the Netherlands.
These two acquisitions consolidate TSG’s expertise in electricity, gas and industrial energy services, reinforcing its capacity to support clients in the deployment of critical energy infrastructure across Europe.
Expanding industrial and multi-utility capabilities in strategic markets.
With close to 50 acquisitions completed in under four years across nearly 20 countries, TSG continues its strategic transformation, combining external and organic growth to develop a pan-European network of skilled teams and integrated energy solutions.
Powertek Utilities, headquartered in Glasgow, is a fast-growing UK provider of multi-utility EPC services with strong expertise in electric grid connection, EV charging and gas network upgrades. The company delivers turnkey solutions including LV/HV/EHV design, civil engineering, and cable jointing, and is authorised by all major UK DNOs. With a team of over 70 field and contract professionals, Powertek has established itself as a trusted partner in infrastructure decarbonisation projects with a strong HSEQ culture.
This acquisition strengthens TSG’s Charge & Power segment in the UK and provides high-value capabilities to address the rising demand in electrification and infrastructure upgrade. It will also create strong synergies with recent acquisitions such as Skerritt Electrical.
Van der Heijden (HMI), based in Boxtel, is a Dutch engineering company specialising in the installation and maintenance of industrial gas, chemicals, fuel and water systems. The company serves a diversified B2B client base, including defence and public-sector entities, under long-term framework agreements.
HMI brings recognised expertise in high-complexity environments, combining certified technicians, robust engineering capabilities and in-house workshop resources. Its know-how in critical infrastructure makes it a valuable addition to TSG’s local operations in the Netherlands.
The acquisition enhances TSG’s capabilities in industrial energy systems and reinforces its presence in the Dutch market, while opening new opportunities in regulated and high-resilience segments.
“With Powertek Utilities and Van der Heijden joining the Group, we are further strengthening our positions in the UK and the Netherlands, two countries where demand for energy services and technical infrastructure is accelerating. These companies bring recognised technical know-how and committed local teams.
