TSG, the European leader in technical services for responsible mobility solutions, announces it has officially passed the milestone of 7,000 employees. This figure marks a new step in the Group’s transformation, powered by both external and organic growth, and strengthened by the recent acquisition of Gilbarco Veeder-Root’s service operations in Northern and Eastern Europe, bringing over 380 experienced professionals into the Group.
A human capital strategy that supports transformation and growth
TSG’s workforce has grown by nearly 80% since 2020, driven by an ambitious HR strategy and a sharp focus on acquiring new technical capabilities. The Group has completed over 40 acquisitions in 17 countries over the past three years, 11 of which in 2025 alone. These acquisitions are instrumental in accelerating TSG’s development in high-growth energy segments such as electric mobility, solar power, electrical transformation, and energy storage.
With 86% of its staff dedicated to operations, TSG continues to strengthen its local footprint and operational capacity across Europe, while maintaining a lean and agile structure focused on client needs.
“Crossing the 7,000-employee threshold is a strong signal of our transformation and our ability to build and retain the right skills to serve the energy transition,” said Jean-Marc Bianchi, Chairman & CEO of TSG. “It reflects the strength of our entrepreneurial culture, our decentralized model, and the engagement of all our teams. At TSG, we think global, but we act human and local.”
Building tomorrow’s energy skills, today
TSG’s strategic transformation is built on acquiring and developing the right skills in the right places. Since 2016, the share of employees dedicated to new energy services (electricity, solar, gas, HVAC) has grown from 2% to over 25%. This evolution is the result of targeted M&A activity – over 60% of workforce growth since 2020 has come through acquisitions, 93% of which were in new energies – but also of a proactive internal training approach.
Each employee receives an average of 22 hours of training per year, supporting the development of multi-energy expertise across all countries. More than 1,300 employees were trained in electric mobility and solar solutions in 2024 alone.
TSG also invests in internal and local technical training centers, such as the certified Solar & Electrical Training Centre in France and its technical program in Spain, to accelerate upskilling through hands-on learning.
Digital tools like TSG e-Academy now support group-wide deployment of training in 16 languages, ensuring fast alignment and continuous learning at scale.
A committed, stable, and agile workforce
Despite its rapid growth, TSG enjoys a significantly higher level of employee retention than the industry average. The Group’s decentralized structure and strong local anchorage allow teams to grow within a flexible, autonomous, and performance-driven environment, fully aligned with TSG’s values of responsibility, safety, and client satisfaction.
TSG combines local decision-making and global alignment, through its HR Community and Group HR function, to develop best practices while preserving its entrepreneurial spirit.
TSG is also advancing its diversity ambitions, with the goal of reaching 20% female representation, up from 14% in 2021.
The Group’s employer brand, “Move with TSG. Energize your Future”, reflects its ambition to attract and retain talent aligned with its long-term growth journey.
