Between November 2024 and February 2025, TSG Switzerland SA successfully implemented two new fast-charging stations for electric vehicles – one in Gebenstorf (Aargau) and the other in Granges-Paccot (Fribourg).
The implementation took place as part of the pilot phase for Electra’s market entry in Switzerland.
A key player in electromobility in Europe
Electra is one of Europe’s leading providers of fast-charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. Its goal is to make charging as easy, fast, and accessible as conventional refueling.
With a clear vision, Electra aims to install over 15,000 fast-charging points across Europe by 2030. In Switzerland alone, more than 100 new charging points are planned for 2025 – and over 600 by 2027.

Gebenstorf
The first fast-charging station in the region, the station in Gebenstorf, was built in a busy commercial area surrounded by numerous shops. Two modular Alpitronic HYC fast-charging stations with a capacity of up to 300 kW allow vehicles to be fully charged in less than 20 minutes.

Granges-Paccot
The second station is located on the grounds of the Ibis Hotel in Granges-Paccot, right next to the Freiburg Casino and close to the A14 motorway. Thanks to its strategic location, the station is ideal for travelers and visitors to nearby businesses. Two Alpitronic HYC fast-charging stations ensure a fast and reliable charging experience.
