Daimler Truck & Bus Slovakia opened its new MERCEDES-BENZ TRUCK CENTER in the Senec Logistics Park in autumn 2024. The center brings together the sales and servicing departments of Mercedez-Benz trucks and buses, FUSO commercial vehicles and SETRA buses, along with a full range of customer services. All to be found in one place.
Sustainability was a key consideration during the project’s planning phase. The building in Senec features a green roof, heat pumps and other eco-friendly solutions.
In terms of sustainability, Daimler Truck & Bus also focused on transport. Their goal is clear: to become a leader in CO2-neutral cargo transport. The company focuses on the changes in cargo transport and the market with cargo vehicles. They are seeing a shifting trend towards alternative fuels, primarily towards electricity.
Cooperation between TSG Slovak Republic and Daimler Truck & Bus Slovakia
The new Truck Center in Senec has considered integrated eMobility solutions and decided to offer its customers everything in one place, including eRent vehicle fleet and the charging infrastructure.
For this project, we opted to build electric charging stations for both cargo and personal vehicles. TSG Slovak Republic was asked to bring its expertise with the installation of the project and commissioning the two charging stations within the Truck Center.
Our contribution to the project

Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC400 - 400 kW DC
The first station is the ultra-fast charging station: Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC400. It is primarily designed for usage by trucks and commercial vehicles, which is reflected in its location with a great sense of spatial capacity.
HYC400 has two connectors, allowing for simultaneous charging of two vehicles. With a charging power of up to 400 kW, it enables ultra-fast charging, even for trucks or fleets. Additionally, this model provides an efficiency of 97.5%.

Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC50 - 50 kW DC
The second station is Alpitronic HYC50 – 50KW DC, that also comes with two connectors.
This type of charging station from Alpitronic is more space-efficient and primarily designed for charging personal vehicles. A truck can certainly handle it as well without any problems. This model is ideal for corporate fleets, public parking lots or retail operations, where flexibility, reliability, and high performance are required.
The power of 50 kW significantly shortens the charging time, which is perfect for customers who need to charge their vehicles quickly. Another advantage is its compact design, making this model ideal for space-constrained locations.
So far, both charging stations are intended for internal use, but soon, they will also become accessible to the public. Therefore, the location in Senec will be enhanced with additional charging stations located on a highly frequented route between Pezinok and Senec. Electric vehicle drivers will undoubtedly appreciate this.
