Heavy goods vehicle charging infrastructure for Schenker France: 115 terminals installed by TSG

TSG France supported Schenker France in the deployment of electric charging infrastructure dedicated to heavy goods vehicles. With 51 logistics sites across France and more than 115 charging stations installed, this major project is part of the company’s strategy to decarbonize freight transport. It illustrates Schenker France’s commitment to more sustainable logistics.

The challenges faced by Schenker France

High power terminal

Schenker France, a major player in European transport and logistics, wanted to electrify part of its heavy goods vehicle fleet while ensuring operational continuity. The main challenge was to quickly deploy a reliable, powerful charging infrastructure adapted to the specific constraints of logistics platforms.

This project is part of a national initiative, aimed at equipping strategic sites in the Schenker France network with high-power terminals. They should be capable of meeting the growing needs of heavy-duty electric mobility.

The turnkey solution provided by TSG

Faced with these challenges, TSG Charge proposed a comprehensive and tailor-made solution, covering the entire project lifecycle:

Illustrative example: Serris site (77)

  • Installation of two charging stations
  • Power: 120 kW and 43 kW
  • Complete electrical connection
  • Integration into the centralized monitoring system

Vehicle charging infrastructure

«Thanks to TSG's expertise, we were able to equip our sites with high-performance terminals, within a short timeframe and with comprehensive support. This project is a key driver in our low-carbon strategy.»

Fast charging for electric heavy goods vehicles

Significant reduction in CO₂ emissions

Improved autonomy and operational flexibility

Indeed, this project is part of the acceleration of the energy transition in road transport. It takes place in a European context where more than 10% of new heavy goods vehicles registered in 2024 already used alternative energy sources, with a target of 50% by 2030. Furthermore, the European Union is mandating a 15% reduction in CO₂ emissions for vehicles over 16 tonnes by 2025, which encourages carriers to modernize their fleets. In this context, thanks to its turnkey approach, TSG designed and installed a robust and scalable solution, seamlessly integrated into the site’s operations.

This approach illustrates TSG’s commitment to developing charging solutions adapted to heavy-duty mobility in France. With its turnkey offering, TSG supports companies in their energy transition by providing reliable, scalable, and intelligent infrastructure.
