Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)
ANPR will be of interest to both public and private stations. Public stations can store forecourt drive-offs in a blacklist directory; if the license plate appears at the service station again, the cashier is automatically notified. Private fleet stations can use ANPR to authorise the release of the dispenser automatically without the need for a PIN, tag or card.
Connectivity
Depending on the type of site, the camera system can be connected to different site controllers, such as the Tokheim FuelPOS for (unmanned) public stations and the ProFleet LOGmaster fuel management system for private stations.
